We just started on a rather wonderful project with a really neat client and we thought it might be fun to document it in our website. Baby Renee thought so too, which is why she gave us her enthusiastic approval to show off her new wardrobe and talk about the steps to creating 30 ish dresses and playclothes.   Renee describes herself as just a Wittle Bitty Girl and a real Girly Girl.  So without further ado, here’s the first sunsuit. It’s kinda sorta the three piece Belly Button Raspberry Sunsuit you see in the Rompers, Playclothes and Onesies page. We got our first good, long look at the finished garment on a drop dead gorgeous spring morning. Hence, we call it “Sunny Days”…

fabric for an oh so baby look in one
of my favourite dresses.
The matching ruffle panties are trimmed in
 yellow.

Pink ducks 3 piece sun suit

This one is made from a sweet
cotton with pink ducks
I dressed the bonnet with lots of lace
and ribbons.
The ruffles on the pantie are white cotton.

Baby loves her teddy bears so I thought
why not a romper.
It's all trimmed in white and I added
little brown buttons and lace
Of course there are snaps for her
diaper changes.

Yellow Sunshine Dress

Time for Baby's first real grown up
little girl dress.
Made from soft yellow searsucker
with red floral embroidery.
This is the dress she can go out  to tea in
or perhaps wear to Church.
The matching  panties have eyelet lace
ruffles to match the eyelet lace on the dress.

I love the hat on this one.
I added extra lace in ecru cotton eyelet
with a little scallop.
