For Cutest One Of All, the test of what we do is the second or third dress we make for someone. Comments below are taken from e-mails from repeat clients. People have asked us why they don't see more of our garments on eBay. It's simple. We've got one seamstress. And a fair bit of the time she's busy sewing dresses, nighties and diapers requested by e-mail by some very pleasant people. Or she's out and about finding fabric she likes for these garments.

We mention all this partly because a while ago I received an e-mail asking why our dresses were more expensive than some you see on e Bay. So I asked Miss Sutherland. She harrumphed (she likes that noise). Then she got quiet for a while. Then she said that comparing garments for sale on e Bay is sometimes like comparing apples and pomegranates. There are maybe three of any dress we do. And like some of the other people making garments for adult babies, we care about the garments we make, we care about how and where they're worn. This isn't just clothing. It's a part of someone's wardrobe, a part of their lifestyle, a piece of who they are.

Tea Party Dress

It's all Satin and lace trimmed with pretty pink roses.
As an Afternoon tea dress, however
you wear it you will feel so feminine and pretty.
The dress is made of a light cotton multicoloured eyelet lace.
It's contrasted with a gorgeous brushed pink satin peter pan
collar, waistband and sashes. The collar and sleeves are
trimmed again in soft pink lace.
After that delicate pink roses to make you feel like a princess.
The bodice is fully lined and all seams professionally finished.
You can order the same dress made to measure in a shorter version
if you wish.

Organza Ultimate Party Dress

This has to the the lightest, fluffiest, crinkliest dress Miss Sutherland has ever created.
It's actually two garments in one.
The under slip is the same pink crinoline shown on our
petticoats and pinafores page.
But the top layer is a dream come true.
The organza is sheer, light and you can hear a definite swoosh as you walk.
Take a look at the close ups. We can offer other pictures too if need be.
You'll see that there is yards of lace, little pink pom poms, and ribbon making this a very special party dress.
Have this made to size just for you and Mommy will love you for it.

This dress can also be made out of blue organza or white organza with matching

Black Taffeta Maid's Dress

Dream of being the upstairs Maid.
Miss Sutherland has designed a dress that's crisp, neat and
yet strangely comfortable, if your idea of comfort is a high neck collar
and leg of Mutton sleeves.

The dress is long and very full. It's hard to see from the photos but
there is a long 10" rufflle going all the way around the bottom of the dress.
The sleeves have turn up cuffs in white satin to match the collar.
This particular dress has some elastic through the waist for ease.
There is a 22" zipper in the back.
You can have the dress made to lock with locking loops if you wish.
As with all my dresses, variations are only an email away. Have it
custom made to suit you.

The apron shown is sold separately. It's from a Vintage design
using heavy white cotton and featuring straps that attach
at the back and long sashes to tie.
